Hydroxyethyl Methyl cellulose(HEMC) is a odorless, tasteless,non-toxic cellulose ethers producted from natural hIgh molecular cellulose through series of chemical processing and achieved.It is white powder with good water solubility. It has thickening, adhesion ,dispersing, emulsifying, film, suspended, adsorption, gel, and protetive colloid properties of surface activity and maintain moisture function properties ect.

Hydroxyethyl Methyl cellulose can greatly improve the water retention capacity, inhibit the large loss of moisture to the highly water-absorbing ceramic tile and substrate, so that there is enough water for hardening condition of cement, the bond strength is increased and the slip resistance of mortar is further improved;
Excellent open time and adjustable time for workers to adjust the mistakes of placing wrong ceramic;
No matter be thickly sticked or thin sticked, Hydroxyethyl Methyl cellulose can develop a good bond strength, reduce shrinkage rate, and it won't cause ceramic tile craze and fall off by stress;

Hydroxyethyl Methyl cellulose can improve the homogeneity of the mortar,which permits an easier painting of the mortar .Thus the working efficiency is improved and the resistance to sagging is enhanced.
The excellent water retention prolongs the workable time of putty,improves working efficiency ,avoids occurrence of crusting phenomena and imparts high mechanical strength to putty during coagulating period.
