The addition of redispersible polymer powders into mortar can increase the cohesiveness, cohesion and flexibility of mortar. First, it can improve the water retention of mortar and form a film to reduce evaporation of water. Second, it can improve the bond strength of mortar. Redispersible Polymer powder (RDP) is composed of a special polymers made of powder adhesive after spray drying. Redispersible Polymer powder (RDP) contacted with water can be dispersed again in soon after forming emulsion, and with the nature of the same as the initial emulsion, namely the film can be formed after the moisture evaporation, the film has high flexibility, high resistance to weathering and on various substrate with high caking property.

【Transportation and Storage】
The direct addition of the product to water causes the formation of lumps . Lumping results from incomplete wetting of the individual powder particles . Only the powder in contact with water dissolves and the formed gelatinous membrane prevents the remaining powder from dissolving , causing a delay in the dissolution time . The following three methods are recommended for dissolution without forming lumps . The most convenient method should be chosen according to the purpose of your application.
