odourless ethyl cellulose powder,
EC ethyl cellulose powder,
screen printing ink ethylcellulose
Ethyl Cellulose is a non-ionic,water soluble polymer from derived from cellulose through a series of chemical and physical processes. It has good stability to light, heat, oxygen and wetness, and is stable to chemicals.
It is resistant to alcali, dilute acid and salting liquid, soluble in many organic solvents, such as alcohol, ether, ketone, ester, aromatic hydrocarbon and halohydrocarbon etc. And it is compatible to many celluloses, resin and nearly all plasticizers.
Ethyl Cellulose has low combustibility, small hydroscopicity and good electric behavior. Its thin film and plastics have good mechanical strength and flexibility in a wide range of temperature.
Ethyl cellulose is the ideal binder for conductive silver paste used in MLCC and solar cell, due to its high purity, clean burn-out, adjustable rheological performance and outstanding batch-to-batch consistency
• Best performing ethyl cellulose with unique organo-solubility and outstanding stability due to advanced production process
• Good solubility and low impurities allows reduction of filtering costs
• Narrower and higher electrodes with sharper edges that contribute to high conversion rates for photovoltaic cells
• Formulation flexibility and reduced rheology adjustment costs
Ethyl Cellulose is widely used in printing ink such as screen printing ink , magnetic ink , flexographic and gravure printing ink; Ethyl cellulose is used as an additive to control the viscosity and improve performance of ink formulations. Ethyl cellulose can also be used as a binder in these solvent based ink formulations. Ethyl cellulose forms films with remarkably good flexibility at low temperatures with excellent impact toughness. Ethel cellulose improves flexographic and gravure ink's abrasion and scuff resistance.
Tablets and pill
Ethyl cellulose is widely used in film and bead coating for controlled release tablets. Ethyl cellulose forms a strong film with good adhesion.
It can offer a versatile diffusion barrier whose properties can be modified by film thickness level of water soluble pore-forming additives plasticizer choice, solvents used, or the viscosity of Ethyl Cellulose.
