Characteristics
Vegetable Empty Capsules are derived from natural cellulose- Hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose. They contain no preservatives, gelatin, wheat, gluten, animal by-products or starch. They are friendly to vegetarian consumers.
HPMC capsules are renowned for their long storage life and are essential for the encapsulation of moisture sensitive powders. The capsules offer enhanced absorption and digestion of protein, fat and carbohydrate, which gives them technical characteristics that traditional gelatine capsules cannot match.
They are made from natural wood pulp and are free from animal products. HPMC capsules are widely recognised in many countries as avalid vegetable alternative to gelatine capsules. Our HPMC capsules are strictly non-toxic vegetarian, kosher and Halal Certificate.
HPMC capsules work excellently with hydroscopic products as they contain 60% less moisture compared to standard gelatine capsules. The capsules remain non-brittle and stable during processing. There are no cross links with aldehydes.
